EVOLUTION IS A LIE!
Just as Kai Min picked up his science book, there was a knock on the door. He looked out the window. "I’ll get it," he called. "It’s Brent. He said he’d come over tonight to study science together."
In the kitchen, the two boys silently read the assigned pages and answered the questions. "This doesn’t make much sense," mumbled Kai Min. "It says that animals developed from some creature that came out of the sea!" The boys looked up as Kai Min’s mom came into the room with a few papayas. "Would you like some papayas?" she asked. "I just picked some from our own tree."
As Kai Min and Brent helped themselves, Mom continued. "I heard what you were saying," she said, "and I agree with you - it doesn’t make sense to think that one kind of plant or animal evolved and changed into another." She picked up a papaya, cut it in half, and pointed to the seeds. "What do you think would come up if you planted those seeds?" she asked. "Apples?"
Kai Min laughed. "Of course not, Mom," he said. "You know the answer to that question." "Well, when fish lay eggs, do turtles hatch out?" asked Mom. "Or when chickens lay eggs, do ducks hatch out?" Both boys laughed at that idea. Mom looked at the papaya seeds again. "In a way, seeds speak to us," she said. "They tell us that what God said in His Word is true - that He created all things, and He has placed within plants and animals and humans the ability to reproduce after their own kind."
"So this book we’re studying on evolution doesn’t make sense compared to what the Bible says, and it doesn’t make sense compared to what happens in nature, either," said Kai Min. "I’m so glad I know the truth." "Me, too," agreed Brent, "but I wonder if Mr. Koh does." Kai Min shook his head. "I don’t know," he said. "I guess we’ll have to learn these theories, but I’m going to make sure Mr. Koh knows I don’t believe them." Brent nodded.
"We can tell him the truth, and then it’ll be up to him to believe it or not."
Thought: Do you know that man’s theories regarding evolution are just man’s ideas and are untrue? They are lies.
Prayer: Our heavenly Father, thank You for the reminder that evolution is only a theory and a big lie. Evolution cannot be proven, and doesn’t even make sense. The first book of the Bible – Genesis – explains how the world and everything in it came into existence. And all of nature is evidence of the truth of Your Word. Thank You for being the awesome Creator of all things! In Jesus’ name I pray. - Amen.
