Introduction
The AF theme verse is taken from Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." It reflects the mission of the AF, which is to provide a platform for believers to get together and enjoy true Christian fellowship with God and fellow saints.
Objectives
We hope to provide adults a haven of spiritual fellowship and feeding as we seek to support one another, sharing burdens and provoking one another unto good works. In addition, we hope to provide a transition for older YAFers to move into AF and likewise to prepare older AFers to transit to SAF.
Age Group
AF caters to adults between 36 to 50 years old and their children. Within this age range, we have working adults, SAHMs (Stay-At-Home Mothers), singles, newlyweds and parents with children ranging from newborn to teens. Despite the diversity, the committee is committed, with God's help, to meet everyone's spiritual needs. Special programs have been carefully planned for the year to ensure no one is left out.
Children's Programme
This programme is for children aged 4 to 10, where they are taught the Bible and have activities together so that parents can focus on the study of God's Word and participate in the discussion groups without distractions before joining their children over dinner provided.
Youth Programme
This programme, started in 2018, caters to the needs of youths aged 11 to 14 of AFers. They study God's word, share and pray for one another and serve the Lord together. We hope to integrate them into the Youth Fellowship when they are in Secondary 3.
Parents are warmly invited to come as a family to have fellowship with the saints.
Frequency of Meetings
The AF meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month in church from 5 pm to 7 pm in the Main Sanctuary. Dinner is provided. Details of our meetings are also available in the church weekly and AF notice board.
Our Activities
Our activities include the studying of God's word, prayer and sharing, discussions, CNY visitations and outings. The various activities also provide areas of service for our members to co-labour in.
