The Junior Worship Ministry caters to children from ages 2 to 16 years old. It comprises three departments: the Pre-primary, for children ages 2 to 6 years old; the Primary, for children ages 7 to 12 years old and the Teens, for children ages 13 to 16 years old.

The objectives of the Junior Worship Ministry are:

• To teach the Word of God to children
• To lead them to Christ and help them hide God’s Word in their heart
• To protect the young ones from carnality
• To nurture them in the faith
• To remind them to be a good witness for Christ

The Junior Worship Pre-primary department caters to pre-school children from 2 to 6 years of age. It is divided into three groups, Tiny Tots, Nursery and Kindergarten.

Every Sunday, from about 11 am to 12:15 pm, classes are held for these three groups of children. Children turning 2-3 years of age will gather in the Tiny Tots room (#04-03) on the fourth floor. Children turning 4 years of age will gather in the Nursery room (#01-12), on the ground floor (next to the stage) and those aged 5-6 will gather in the Kindergarten rooms (#01-15 to #01-18). The children will leave the main sanctuary prior to pastoral prayer during the English Morning Worship Service.

The class begins with a welcome, opening prayer and singspiration. This is followed by a Bible lesson and activities including art and craft. The Tiny Tots program ends with light refreshments for the children.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is held annually during the June school holidays for children from age 5 and above.  VBS is usually over 3 days from 9 am to 3:30 pm. This is run concurrent with the VBS for the Primary children.

A Christmas song item will be presented by the nursery and kindergarten children during Morning Worship in December.

The Junior Worship Primary Department invites all children from Primary 1 to 6 to attend the Sunday School from about 11.00 am to 12.15 pm every Sunday. The children will leave the main sanctuary prior to pastoral prayer during the English Worship Service.

During Sunday School, the children gather in the JW Sanctuary located at level 2 (room #02-03) for 15 minutes of singspiration before proceeding to their respective classrooms for lessons. Each week, the teachers will teach God's Word based on the curriculum planned for the entire year. On occasional Sundays, the children will also participate in activities such as quizzes, games, Missions Sunday and Christmas celebration.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) in June

Held annually during the June school holidays, the VBS is organised for children from K1 to P6 for 3 days (from 9 am to 3.30 pm). The children will learn more about God's Word, while enjoying themselves with lots of fun activities with their friends. In addition to the outdoor games, the children also work on art and craft, and share their Bible knowledge and testimony with friends. VBS encourages children to invite their non-believer friends, neighbours and classmates. The children are also encouraged to share the gospel and be a young evangelist.

Junior Worship Camp (JW Camp) in December

A 4 days, 3 nights camp is organised annually for children from P3-P6 at the end of the year. This enriching experience is invaluable to many as friendships and bonds are further deepened as they come together to share God's Word. The intensity and importance of prayers is emphasised during the camp with the aim that these children will continue to pray fervently daily and continue their spiritual growth. They are also taught to chair meetings and are trained in leadership roles. They also spend time in more in-depth study of God's Word.
