Golden Years
"Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.” Psalm 71:18
Introduction
As a ministry to the senior brethren, GYF welcomes everyone 60 years and above to join our activities. Younger brethren who desire to serve God by ministering to the senior brethren are also invited to join us. “Golden Years” is the precious period of our lives when we can, after decades of working and family life, devote more time to studying God’s word, encouraging, serving and fellowshipping with other believers. Thus, as God’s family, we can spur and encourage one another on to fight the good fight and keep the faith till the end (2 Tim 4:7) as well as to be good examples to the younger believers.
Activities
Bible Study – First Friday of the month, at 2 pm in the church lounge.
Monthly Fellowship Meeting – Second Saturday of the month, at 10.30 am in the New Sanctuary.
(Above schedule subject to change. No fellowship meeting or bible study in June and December. An annual retreat may be held in October instead of a fellowship meeting.)
Outings and visitations are organised periodically.
