February 4 Evening: "See that ye be not troubled" - Mt 24:6

THE END TIME IS A TIME OF GLOBAL UPHEAVAL AND UNREST. Are you agitated, anxious, dejected, confused, or alarmed? See that you meet the troubles of the present time with courage, patience and fortitude, submitting yourself to God. The world may be troubled, but not you. You are a sheep of His fold, a child of His love. You should not be troubled, for all things that concern you are appointed by infinite wisdom and love: you are safe in God's almighty hand. He is with you to keep you from all evil. With every temptation He will also make a way of escape so that you will be able to bear it. Therefore watch and pray: the Lord will surely keep you from anxiety and dejection. "See that ye be not troubled." Trusting in His promises, walk close by His side; casting all your cares and burdens on the Lord, for He careth for you. Your light affliction is but for a moment: it works for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Look not at your troubles, but look to the Lord, the author and finisher of our faith. To you He says, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." He is your helper: fear not what man shall do unto you.

For Meditation:
Lord, bid my troubled soul be still,
And rest upon Thy holy will;
Today I can't Thy purpose see,
Yet all is well when ruled by Thee.
