A MARVELLOUS TRANSFORMATION IS COMING FOR US, at our Lord's appearing. Every true Christian will be changed to be like Jesus in His glorified humanity! Like our Lord, as free from sin, perfect in holiness, and completely transformed. His likeness will appear in every believer. What a contrast with the present it will be! Now, even at this present time, we appear to ourselves at times almost like Satan. O the depth of depravity we discover, the powerful corruptions we feel, the fearful opposition to God we sometimes experience! But, one day soon, we shall be like Him! God has purposed it, the Gospel plainly reveals it, and the Holy Spirit is working to effect it. Every evil shall be purged out, every virtue shall be perfected, and we shall be pure as He is pure. Let us then look forward, and with anticipation to that glorious moment: let us consider the end of our election, redemption, and calling; and let us pray, pant, and strive to be holy. If holiness is our element, heaven will be our home, and unspeakable joy our eternal portion. But we know not what we shall be, only that we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, we shall be freed from our carnal corruption for all eternity.

Blest transformation I shall know,
And perfect liberty;
Set free from all my chains below,
I shall ascend to Thee.
