HEAVEN FOR HOMOSEXUALS?

There is much confusion over the issue of homosexuality due to the growing strength of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) movement. It is also strongly aided by the compromise and unbelief of Christian churches. Some of these churches argue that homosexuals should be accepted into church leadership. There are also churches who consist fully of homosexuals, from the leadership down to the ordinary member. "We are going to heaven in Jesus Christ!" So they proclaim.

The passage in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 could not be any clearer. Paul declared emphatically that the "effeminate" and "the abusers of themselves with mankind" shall not enter into the kingdom of God. The term "effeminate" (malakoi) has a connotation of softness and passivity. It refers to male prostitutes who are dressed like ladies allowing themselves to be abused by other men. On the other hand, the term "abusers of themselves with mankind" (arsenokoitai) refers to those who actively pursue a homosexual lifestyle. Those who persist in these sins and refuse to repent will have no place in heaven!

Romans 1:26-27 teaches that homosexuality is the outpouring of God’s wrath against the unregenerate. "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." When men reject God, God in His divine wrath gives them up to their own lusts. Both men and women leave the natural use of their body and "exchange" it for unnatural relations with another of the same sex. Homosexuality is not due to DNA, as propounded by certain scientific journals today. It is rather the manifestation of the sinful nature of men. Homosexuality is humiliation and not pride!
