PROVERBS 3:27-28
DO GOOD TO GLORIFY GOD
"Do you have an extra pen? May I borrow it?"
"Can you help me with Questions 4 and 5 of the problem sums, please?"
"May I have a look at your Social Studies notes? I really could not catch up with the teacher. She was speaking too fast for me."
When your classmates approach you for help, what do you usually do? Do you curtly tell them," I’m busy. Don’t bother me now." Prov 3:27- 28 says that if you can spare what they asked for, do not hesitate to help or give to your friends.
We are all born sinners and in need of a saviour. God did not withhold giving us Jesus Christ His only begotten Son to die for us. It cost Him dearly. So, when God gives us talents and things, we are to use them to do good deeds. Helping others and giving to those in need are good deeds. Christians do good works so that we can show others that we are followers of the Lord Jesus who is righteous and good.
Read and write out what Jesus said in Matthew 5:16 what good
works will do.

Thought: Serve God and others willingly!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to be a good Christian so that my friends and relatives may see how good and wonderful a Saviour Jesus is. I pray that they will come to believe and trust Him like I do. In Jesus’ name, I pray and praise You. Amen.
