JULY 5, Romans 1:18-22

Long ago,when someone asked me,“What is your religion?”,I replied, “Atheist”. Atheist is someone who does not believe in any god. I cannot see God with my eyes, so how can you tell me there is a god? Then the question continued, ”the beautiful rainbow you are admiring now, who made it?” In this chapter, Paul pointed out the sins of the unbelievers. They stood condemned before God and would be sentenced to hell. Why? God declares in verse 20, “Creation alone tells you that I exist and I have power. Yet you still refuse to worship me!” NO EXCUSE! You are condemned!”

Can nature talk? In a way, yes, day by day, night by night in ALL languages man knows - English, Mandarin, Korean, Tamil, Swahili, French, Russian, etc, shouting loudly , “God made me!” This is because through nature, man must know there is a Creator behind the order and beauty they see.

But yet many think themselves wise, and instead of being thankful and worshipping the Creator, they come up with ideas to worship gods of their own imaginations. The creations of God, even a single-celled amoeba, is complex and well designed. It cannot come by accident. But men don’t want to acknowledge there is an all wise and powerful Creator. They come up with many theories to explain away God. They say, “we made ourselves... by accident... billion of years ago a big bang occurred... evolution took place... our ancestors are apes.

God simply calls them FOOLS! Psalms 53:1 "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for showing me You made me and the world. Help me to tell my friends this. It is not easy and often I am afraid but Heavenly Father, please give me courage. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
