JULY 6, Romans 1:24- 25 

Ever heard someone say this phrase – “The world is getting worse”? Is it someone's frustrated feeling or is it a fact?

A week before Christmas 2012, a 20 year old boy in America took his mother’s guns, killed her at home and went on to a school and sprayed bullets at teachers and students, killing many.
Fifty years ago, homosexuals (men who commit sin with men, women who commit sin with women) hid their shameful and sinful identity.Today, they march the streets championing “GAY PRIDE”, telling the world they are proud homosexuals.

We have read in Singapore of terrible sins committed by principals, teachers, politicians and famous people. And consider this: One little girl in China was hit by a car. No one came to help. Two more cars rolled over her. The world was shocked.
In a class which I taught, a P5 boy blurted out, “What’s the point of being good, my parents are getting a divorce!”

What is happening to this world? Will it get worse?

YES. It will because GOD GIVES UP on the unbelieving world which knows of the existence of God yet does not worship Him as God. God allows them to be carried away by their own wickedness.
Dear children, you know of this God. Worship Him as God. Receive the salvation He offers freely through His Son Jesus Christ. If you harden your heart and continue doing evil, God will “give you up”.

Thought: It is scary when God gives people up!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, give me a heart of flesh to love You, worship You and obey You all the days of my life. I know the world is getting worse and I can easily be affected by it. So Heavenly Father, please teach me to keep so close to You. This is my prayer in Jesus’ name, Amen.
