A FALLING AWAY FIRST
 
In the last few days’ readings, we have seen how the RC, the WCC, the Evangelicals, the Charismatics and the URO are leading and promoting the falling away of the Christian Church.
 
Startling advances by these groups in this end-time development are seen in:
 
a) interdenominational worship and meetings,
b) interfaith worship of “Christians” with other religions,
c) the gathering momentum of the “back to Rome” pilgrimage of Protestants led by the Anglicans,
d) the WCC wooing the RC with increasing “success,” and
e) the Pope waiting with masterly inactivity for the “separated brethren” to return to the fold.
 
When ultimate ecumenical union takes place, we shall see OIKOUMENE, ONE WORLD, with the Head of the RC on the throne. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:4 and Revelation 17:1-6. When you see these things, lift up your head, for the Lord cometh!
 
The urgent and compelling duty of Bible-believing churches and faithful Christians today is to warn others of the rapid FALLING AWAY and SUBTLE DECEPTION now overtaking Christendom everywhere. This falling away or departure from the faith is to prepare the way for the ultimate demise of BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY, and the union of APOSTATE CHRISTENDOM with ALL RELIGIONS.
 
Do not be misled. Be like the church in Philadelphia (Rev 3:10-11) which the Lord commended: “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”
 
THOUGHT: Big is better? Not so in God’s eye!
PRAYER: Father, keep me from all deception. Help me be faithful to Thee to the end.
