Psalm 27:1

THE LORD IS MY LIGHT

Before we know the Lord, we live in the darkness of sin, and we live as enemies of God. After we know the Lord, we are taken out of the darkness and made to walk in the light. This is because the Lord Jesus Christ is the Light! He brings us understanding, joy, comfort and protection.

When we walk in the light, the powers of darkness fall away and we do not fear Satan and hell anymore. Jesus, our light, has destroyed the powers of darkness.The Lord has become our salvation.

Are you living in sin and without Christ? If you are, repent and believe in the Lord as your only Saviour and Lord. When you are saved, God will make you grow in His image. THis means God will teach you the good qualities that He has – humility, faith, kindness, wisdom and selflessness, to name a few. Once you are His child, God will watch over you every day. WIth God, you need not fear the future.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are my light and my salvation. Help me to be more like You day by day. It is very tough for daily, I face temptation to get angry for the wrong reason, to get jealous, to be who I want to be instead of being who YOU want me to be. But Heavenly Father, please help me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
