MANY ARE GOD’S WONDERFUL WORKS

The Lord has done so many wonderful things that David the psalmist says it is impossible for him to number, arrange in order, or even speak of.

One of the wonderful works of the Lord of course is His work of creation. You can read about His handiwork in Genesis 1 and 2.

God also does the wonderful work of providence when He shows His care and love for you and me, and to the people who make up the nation of Israel. The song, "He is Able", tells us "He healed the broken- hearted and set the captive free, He made the lame to walk again, caused the blind to see".

We must also never forget God’s wonderful work of redemption. The work that Jesus Christ has done on the cross, living a perfect life on earth and laying down His life for sinners such as you and me, is a wonder of wonders. It is a wonder of grace that God even chooses us and awakens us from our lost condition. It is a wonder that He makes us to know that Jesus is the only One who can save and rescue us. By ourselves, we can never know God. It is certainly the wonderful work of God.
