WHEN JESUS COMES

SEPTEMBER 29, Isaiah 56:1-2

When Jesus comes to reward His servants, we will be rewarded according to how we have served Him. We are to be honest and just in all our dealings. We are also to observe the Sabbath Day (Lord’s Day in the New Testament) as a test of our love, devotion and trust in the Lord. The blessing of keeping the Lord’s Day holy is strength and direction from God throughout the coming week.

All who genuinely seek after God place their faith in Him. Even “strangers” and “eunuchs”, will be accepted by Him. The Lord will bless them and give them “a place and a name better than of sons and daughters” if they come to Him. When they join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, and to love Him, God will love them, too. What a wonderful God we have! Not only is He kind, fair and just, but he is also full of loving kindness to take in and care for the rejected and outcasts of the earth.
