MAY 15, Colossians 1:10-11
The fourth characteristic of the Fruit of the Spirit is longsuffering. Do not be scared by the long word – just think of it as “suffering long”! It also means having patience with people, that is, being able to endure rude or difficult people. For example, someone may irritate you. If you are longsuffering, you will “suffer long”, and will not become angry with that person.
It is not easy to be patient with someone who always tries to quarrel with you. However, if you want to please God, you will commit these times to Him and He will help you to have this virtue of longsuffering.
