FEBRUARY 4, John 10:5-8

Today’s verses teach us that there would be thieves and robbers who may pose as shepherds but approach sheep with the purpose of harming them. Who can these be?

Let me give you a scenario. There is a real thief or robber who wants to harm you or your family. Would he approach you and tell you he is a thief or robber? Of course not! In fact, he would probably deny it, pretending to be the “good guy” instead.

There are many types of churches in the world today. But not all churches are the same. Some teach that it is good to believe in Jesus, that believing in Jesus will bring us to heaven. But some of these churches may also teach that believing in other religions will also lead one to heaven! But that is not what Jesus teaches us! In John 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Clearly Jesus is the ONLY way to God.

Read the Bible, verse Acts 4:12 to find out the missing alphabets:
“Neither is there salva__ion in any other:
for there is __one other na__e under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be sa__ed.” (Acts 4:12).

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to remember the only way to Heaven is to believe in Jesus, and to accept Him as my personal Lord and Saviour. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
