GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEEDS

MARCH 31, Philippians 4:19-20

God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Wow! Children, if only we understand the full meaning of this promise. When we do, there will be no reason for us not to be contented.

What are your needs? Perhaps they are for friends, food, clothes or a computer? Or perhaps, tuition for better grades and better health? As you grow older, your list will also grow longer. Incidentally, God “shall supply all your needs” does not mean He will pander to our every whim and fancy. We cannot demand things from God. Revere God because He is Lord!

What is God’s view of our needs? He knows of our material needs and our desires because He is our Creator. He sustains us with the air we breathe, the rain and all the materials of the earth. God also cares for our feelings. However, in addition, He has provided for our spiritual needs. Our soul needs a Saviour, His peace and an eternal home.

If you are a born again Christian, you have already been given an eternal home in heaven. It is a glorious place. Do you believe? If not, pray that God increases your faith. Seeing how God has given us His only begotten Son, will He also not freely give us all things? Will He not supply all your needs?

Write down what gift each picture represents:

Thought: God is faithful. All that we need, God’s hand has provided.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for providing for all my needs. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
